The CFO should be experienced in supporting small businesses serving federal government customers. As a member of senior management, the CFO will be comfortable in a leadership role that requires clear and effective communication skills. The CFO will work together with the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and other executives to fulfill responsibilities such as developing pricing models for proposals, overseeing the capital structure and optimal financing options for the company, providing strategic direction, managing cash flow and the accounting and finance departments, and ensuring company’s financial reports are accurate.
